TEACHING PRACTICE REFLECTION WEEK 4

Fourth week reflection

Another week ended up with handful of experiences. Students requested me to stay at the school as a teacher , that made me so proud and happy.

School Experience

There is a school assembly on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. 
Spc activities are really active at this school
27 July marks the death anniversary of our former president and missile man of india , Dr.A P J Abdul Kalam sir, there was an assembly at school and on the special occasion there was a speech by one student on the contributions of kalam sir to the development of India. Students from UP section created beautiful posters on this day. 
Every day we reach the school on time and sign the register in morning and afternoon. We serve food to students from school mess daily. This was one of our daily routine which made us more responsible. 

Class Experience
Normally I get extra periods every week, but this week I didn't get any extra periods apart from my regular classes. I asked the students to make posters related to road safety and they have responded by creating very attractive and creative posters , which really made me very happy. 
In this week i checked the note books of students and The class pic of my teaching is taken in this week for the firt time.
 Last period of Friday is Sargavela for all the classes. At that time cultural programs are conducted in each class. Students from 8D, 8E and 8F invited me to stay in their class. Students really wanted me to stay in their class during sargavela,but I can only stay at one class ,Previous two week programs i attended 8E and 8D. In this week i attended 8F and promised to visit other classes in coming weeks. I felt really happy and overwhelmed with their love❣️.

  WEEKLY REFLECTION It's crazy how fast time flies and how things progress. This week gave me handful of experiences and cheerful memories. When something feels like ours, we start loving it. I really started to love my school i felt like it's ours. Students were more cooperative and enthusiastic. They were more lovable. I got a gift from a student. It was a wonderful painting. Every day when students see me in corridor they wish me with due respect, that really made me so happy and proud. Write a note on role of teacher in digital age

  In order to understand the role of the teacher in the 21st Century, it is important to consider the historical role of the teacher. For centuries,  The teacher held the position of absolute authoritative power and was the holder, and dispenser of knowledge. Students worked to achieve curricular objectives designed and assessed by the teacher, and were given extrinsic motivators like grades and rewards as reasons to memorize information and demonstrate understanding of taught concepts.
