TEACHING PRACTICE REFLECTION WEEK 3

Third week reflection

Another week ended up with a lot of precious moments .I got more opportunity to interact with students and improved my skills. It was really an overwhelming experience to feel the love and affection of my students towards me .This week was very much effective for me.

School Experiences

July 21, School celebrated international Moon day. In morning assembly there was a speech about the importance of moon day , there was a quiz competition and a placard show for UP students.
July 22, school celebrated Pi day , conducted quiz competition on pi day and announced the winners
On the same day from 2.00pm onwards PTA meeting and an awareness class on Pitfalls of cyber world was conducted. The class was handled by Sri. Suresh Babu sir, Sub inspector of police,Paravur police station 
Every day we reach the school on time and sign the register in morning and afternoon. We served food to students from school mess daily. This was our daily routines which made us more responsible. 

Class experience 

 In addition to my regular classes i got some extra periods,which helped me to cover the chapters effectively. I have received drawings from students as a token of love,i really loved it. Now I'm pretty sure that i have improved a lot in teaching and my confidence is increased. Moreover, I accepted my self as a good teacher.

  WEEKLY REFLECTION It's crazy how fast time flies and how things progress. This week gave me handful of experiences and cheerful memories. When something feels like ours, we start loving it. I really started to love my school i felt like it's ours. Students were more cooperative and enthusiastic. They were more lovable. I got a gift from a student. It was a wonderful painting. Write a note on role of teacher in digital age

  In order to understand the role of the teacher in the 21st Century, it is important to consider the historical role of the teacher. For centuries,  The teacher held the position of absolute authoritative power and was the holder, and dispenser of knowledge. Students worked to achieve curricular objectives designed and assessed by the teacher, and were given extrinsic motivators like grades and rewards as reasons to memorize information and demonstrate understanding of taught concepts. In contrast, the digital age represents an important time of educational change.
